I’m showing my small indie film next month to a small audience and while I’m proud of it, I am a little nervous of people’s reactions. What do you personally look for when watching an indie film? The way it was filmed? Editing? Story?
I attend a southern england school, which is fairly middle class, yet everyone is into dance and rap music. virtually everyone in my year think my kind of music is terrible. I’m talking about bands like: MGMT, The shins, Vampire weekend, Friendly fires etc. I’m just wondering if any teenager out there shares my music taste and dosent understand why so many young people listen to chavy rap/dance music.

I want to know what are some indie artists and artists similar to the sound of Coldplay’s most recent album “Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends”. You could even throw in specific songs! Thanks!
I am trying to make a surprise wedding slideshow for my friends. I need songs that are kind of indie/alternative/rock songs to add to the slideshow. The bride likes music like Death Cab, Iron and Wine, The Shins, etc.
Any suggestions you may have would be great. I’m looking for one for them growing up together, and one for their before marriage pics.
